Coffee lovers will enjoy one of the best coffees in the world in Boquete. At an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level you will find the Mountain Village of Boquete. Due to it’s perfect geographic position with a very mild climate, volcanic soil and coffee plantations dominate the properties around the village. In Boquete you will experience temperatures between 12 degrees celcius (54 fahrenheit) and 26 degrees celsius (79 fahrenheit) often complemented with a very comfortable breeze.

At the coffee plantations you will find many indigenous from the Ngobe – Bugle family working. They contribute highly in the production of coffee in the area. It is a fact that for many families, working at a coffee plantation became a main source of income.
Geisha Coffee – considered one of the finest coffees in the world
A sweet, citrus-like flavour characterises the Geisha coffee. The seat of coffee origins from Ethiopia, from a Mountain village called Gesha. Due to Boquete similar cultivating conditions, as of today Geisha coffee is being cultivated at Boquete plantations. In 2013 Geisha coffee broke all price records being auctioned online for $300 per pound.
